Salt Pond Habitat Restoration -- An introduction to the massive restoration project in San Francisco's South Bay, where 16,000 acres of salt evaporation ponds are being restored to tidal marsh and other natural habitats. Narrated by Keith Fraser, a colorful local bait shop owner; starring threatened snowy plovers. Length: 6-1/2 minutes. DVD only. Funded by the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation.

Alameda Wildlife Refuge -- A new wildlife refuge in San Francisco Bay has been proposed at Alameda, where endangered California least terns nest on a runway at the decommissioned Naval Air Station, and endangered brown pelicans roost on a breakwater nearby. Length: 5 minutes. DVD only. Funded by the Golden Gate Audubon Society.
